The Moon

by Emily Bowen
(Port Huron)

Have you ever found yourself staring up at the moon not quite sure where you are going in life?

Though my story has nothing really to do with the meaning of the tarot card the Moon, I've found myself doing this, sitting under the quiet shelter of a tree just looking at the night sky.

Occasionally I find myself, even in the day, searching for the moon in the sky.

The moon has always offered me a source of wisdom even when things seem at their worst.

It's a symbol of meaning in my life and when I lay underneath it I find my problems to be solved and my questions to be answered.

That's why I believe I am the tarot card the moon because it is my shelter in the storm.

The Moon

This card is actually a very true representation of me at the moment.

I can see in this image who I am and how my life is.

Meaning of the Moon Tarot

The Moon is telling us that we are ready to discover something hidden inside ourselves.

Intuition, dreams and inspiration become important and we must be aware that things are not always what they appear.

The Moon and The Hermit

After basically browsing along Major and Minor Arcanas, and Court Cards, I think the one card that matches me mostly is the Moon or the Hermit.

This is mostly because the Moon's unknown and illusion-like means. I myself rather not speak of my own self. Many of my deepest and true feelings hidden from the mere sight of others. Also because of my many fears too. I also particularly like this card as my 'trickster' nature had come along. Many suggest I was lying but by the end of the day, it was them tricked by my own twist of words and gestures.

My Personality is truly that of withdrawal and lonesome. I was never that great in socializing either. The Hermit suggest of a guide with wisdom but withdraw from society or something sort of it. I like to give a word of advice to those that may need it. I never really play an active part in a society or groups. I am more of those passive peoples that helps from behind and most probable to not have a face even if the roles I play are quite important.

I could have added a few more other cards that also represent my past or personality. Because of human's nature that is complicated. But I guess that's about all to cover about me. Thanks if you're actually reading this!

P.S. No, seriously. I appreciate even one person reading this. Nobody really 'see' me in the real world.

P.P.S. The cards I use up there are of the Major Arcana, but I guarantee that I skimmed through the Minor Arcana and Court Cards too before deciding my suitable card.

Sincerely,
Me~
